Cheekbone Beauty was founded by Jenn Harper who is a First Nation woman living in the Niagara Region. Her passion for make-up inspired her to create a brand in Canada that did not test on animals and gave back to the indigenous communities. Before the company sold a single item, they made a donation to the First Nations Caring Society. 10% of all profits are going to support First Nations Education. There is a funding gap that exists in First Nations Communities in Canada, and many First Nations children are getting 30 to 50% less funding. These children deserve more, and Cheekbone Beauty is doing their best to help. This company has my heart and I'm very proud to be a brand ambassador. Together we can be stronger, and help our fellow First Nations.
At this time Cheekbone beauty has a contour palette, highlighter palette, brow tint, long-lasting lipstick, and lip glosses. I purchased a lip gloss in the colour Sundance. The lip gloss is very comfortable, not sticky and very comfortable. It also smells like vanilla, and it makes me happy each time I apply it. The colour is very nice and enhances my lips. It is a lightweight lip gloss that is enriched with Vitamin E and my lips do feel hydrated when wearing it.
When receiving a package from Cheekbone Beauty a pink feather is included in every order to bestow their love and gratitude to you as a consumer for making a positive impact that changes the lives of our First Nation's Children. The pink feather is intended to be passed on to someone that you want to show your love and gratitude towards. Tell that person why you're giving them the feather, and have them pass it on to someone too. If you do, you can use the hashtag #pinkfeather.
The products are made in Canada, Paraben-Free, Hypo-Allergenic, Allergy Tested, Non-Comedogenic, Fragrance-Free, and not tested on animals.
As an Indigenous Canadian, I'm so happy to have found this company. I found this company before I was asked to be a brand ambassador, and I want to see Cheekbone Beauty soar. It combines my passion for makeup with my love for supporting other Indigenous communities.
