| Huda Beauty Mauve Obsession Palette |
At first glace, this palette has all the shades that I look for in a palette when I want to create a look. It has 6 mattes and 3 shimmer shades. The palette is small, but the pan sizes are nice to dip a brush in. They don't feel too small to work with. I've enjoyed this palette so much that I'm now tempted to get the Warm Brown and Smokey palette, as well as the Dessert Dusk palette. The matte shades blend very well, they're soft but don't have too much kick up. The shimmers are very nice, and I had heard some mixed reviews and expected not to like them. They perform very well on their own, and I don't feel the need to spray them. The packaging is also very nice, it comes in a sturdy cardboard with a very nice mirror.
This palette is great for every day, it's great for travel and it's an all round pretty palette. While it is a warm palette, it stands out on it's own. Don't let the smaller size of the palette deter you. I do want to mention that this palette is more berry than mauve. Some of the brown shades have a mauve undertone, but overall I consider this a berry palette.

I was a little iffy about buying this because it looks so small in picture but I bought one for a friend and it arrived today. Holy cow, the size is smaller than I thought! Still, I am tempted to place an order for myself. LOL!

I thought the small size would bother me, but it doesn't. I have no issues dipping my larger blending brushes in the pans.

DeleteThese colours look stunning - I recently got he Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette and I can see the pigmentation being just as good in this palette. Beautiful.

The colors are so pretty swatched! I remember seeing this in Sephora during the VIB sale and was surprised at all small it was, but I think this would be perfect for traveling!
