May has been a shop my stash makeup month. I've been enjoying a dewy, highlighted look with peachy blushes and warm eye looks. My Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette is always on my vanity because it has every thing I need when another palette is missing; an inner corner highlight, a dark brown or a transition shade that I need. However, this month I've been using it constantly for my complete eye looks. I love this palette so much, it's beautiful and perfect in my eyes. Jaclyn Hill has been teasing new eye shadows, and I'm interested. I believe they will launch this month. I can't wait!

For my under eyes, I've been using the Becca Brightening Powder. I've never used a high end loose powder before and this really did make a difference. It doesn't look heavy on my under eyes and doesn't settle into those fine lines. It brightens and looks great. I went back to using the L'Oreal Magic Lumi as a primer and it really adds to a dewy look. It blends easily into my skin, and foundation blends well on top. I tried another products similar to the Magic Lumi and it did not blend well into my skin and looked patchy underneath. The L'Oreal one is recommended by me. For foundation, I've been looking for a lighter look and the Maybelline Hydrate and Smooth has been working well. Why does this not have a pump? Ugh, I wish. That's my only complaint about this foundation.


I've been all about peachy blushes and this Makeup Revolution Hot Spice palette is in frequent rotation among my collection. It has 6 matte shades and two blush toppers. I normally go for a matte blush, and don't really use the blush toppers but they are there if I want to try them. The last product I shopped my collection was the Sleek Solstice highlighter palette. These show up so well on my fair skin, and they last all day. So beautiful! If you want a "natural" look I wouldn't go for these but I really do enjoy a good highlight on my cheekbones.
