The Soph X Revolution palette was a hidden gem. Soph is a UK Youtuber, and I do really enjoy her channel. She's very relatable and fun to watch. If you want to check out her channel, you can find her here. It took me awhile to pick up this palette but I was really happy when I finally decided to get it. I really like the variety that I can get from this palette. It would make a great travel palette when you want more than just a neutral look. The mattes are nice, and the shimmers are very pretty. I always spray the shimmer shadows in this palette. That's something I do with most shadows. It amps up the shimmer and  helps it last longer on my eye. While I do prefer the formula of the new Revolution Pro eyeshadow palettes, these do build up nicely.


Below are the swatches. I didn't swatch the first row, because they didn't really show up well on my skin tone. While they didn't swatch well, they are nice to work with. I enjoy the first row for my transition shades and my highlight shades.


Soph has launched a Soph X Revolution Extra Spice Palette and I should be getting it today. I'm really excited for the second palette, it looks so beautiful. The first palette is a great affordable palette. I think it's great for beginners or makeup lovers. The first palette does have shade names, they come on a plastic sheet. I'm happy to see the second has the names printed on the palette. Both palettes have a mirror. I do enjoy having a mirror on smaller palettes.
