L'Oreal Paris Infallible Full Wear Concealer (Affordable Drugstore Concealer)
Wednesday, March 27, 2019
Concealer is one of those products that I always wear if I'm doing a no makeup look or a full face of makeup- I need concealer. I'm willing to spend the money on a higher end concealer, but finding an affordable option is always welcoming. Recently, I picked up the L'Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer and I was so shocked with the results. When applying concealer, I need it to cover my dark circles or layer with a colour corrector and not give me too much creasing. I work full time, and I have no time for touching up my makeup during the day. I do set my concealer otherwise creasing will be worst, it's normal.

Benefit Cheekleaders Mini Bronze Squad Review and Swatches
Monday, March 25, 2019
The larger Benefit blush palettes have been around for a while, but they recently released mini versions which were more appealing to me. The large blush palettes always seemed bulky and pretty high priced. In Canada it sells for 80$ and the larger cardboard is what I don't like about the palettes. These mini versions cost 40$ and come in a much sleeker cardboard packaging. I decided to pick up the bronze mini palette because it fits into an "all in one category" for me. I thought all three products would work on my fair skin and it would help speed up my morning routine. The bronze palette has Gold Rush, Cookie, and Hoola bronzer. There is also a pink version which has Galifornia, Tickle, and Dandelion which are sold as individuals. I would like to get that version as well.

Colourpop It's My Pleasure Palette (Review and Swatches)
Friday, March 22, 2019
The Colourpop It's My Pleasure palette is one of Colourpop's 9 pan monochromatic palettes. This purple palette is gorgeous when you look at it. It has 3 mattes, one matte with flecks of glitter and 5 metallics. The mix of matte and metallics really set this palette up to be a well rounded purple palette. The Bling Boss by Morphe X Jaclyn Hill was gorgeous but it's missing a mid-tone purple to help blend out the dark shades, where this palette has both and I have a much easier time creating looks. I might use this palette to help me with the Bling Boss.
L'Oreal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Foundation Review
Wednesday, March 20, 2019
The L'Oreal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear is one of the newest foundations to come to the drugstore and I've heard so many positive reviews that I really wanted to give it a try myself. This foundation claims to be medium to full coverage, breathable and lightweight. I will say I was surprised by how thin the texture was and the coverage that I received with a sponge. It was medium coverage right away, and yes it builds up nicely. The finish is very natural, and I do agree with their "second skin" claim. Additionally, the formula has oil absorbers to resist swear, water and transfer. I really don't like when foundations transfer so that was a nice bonus. This foundation is good for all skin types and comes in 30 shades.
Revlon Rose Glow Illuminating and Hydrating Primer
Monday, March 18, 2019
The Revlon Rose Glow Hydrating and Illuminating Primer was a new find at my local drugstore. I'm not sure how new it is because beauty products do get to Canada a bit later. This is a Photoready product in Revlon's line. You know I love the L'Oreal Glotion and thought this might be another base product that I would love. It claims to have "many benefits, one little bottle; smoothes skin for foundation, deposits a rosy pearlescence; plus, it helps skin feel hydrated for up to 24 hours." I thought it would be another product I would like on its own when wanting to forgo the foundation.
Morphe 35V Stunning Vibes (Review and Swatches)
Friday, March 15, 2019
It's been a few months since I picked up a Morphe palette. The last palettes I purchased from Morphe was from their holiday collection. The blues and purples of this palette really drew me in, this palette was exclusively sold at Ulta and due to customs and exchange, I didn't purchase it. When Sephora Canada released it, I was able to pick it up in store.
Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara (Review) A new favorite.
Wednesday, March 13, 2019
Benefit's Badgal Bang mascara has quickly become a favourite, which says a lot because I'm picky when it comes to mascara. I need all the help I can get with volume and length. This mascara claims to be a 36 hours mascara, that "creates massive volume without weighing down the lashes." I did not test the 36 hours, because who needs a 36-hour mascara? I remember the brand trips when this first launched and it was spaced themes which I didn't really understand until I read that this was a "gravity-defying formula [that] builds volume the more you layer, and contain aero-particles, one of the lightest known materials, derived from space technology." That put it into perspective for me, and I do really find it to be a lightweight formula.

Beauty Glazed | Mars Palette (Review and Swatches)
Friday, March 8, 2019
The Beauty Glazed 9 pan palettes really caught my attention when Tammi Clarke on Youtube compared the Beauty Glazed to the Huda Beauty 9 pan palettes. They have similar concepts, and packaging but Beauty Glazed is not an exact match up in terms of colour. They've give their own take on these colour stories and named them after planets. The Mars palette seemed like it would have colours that I would love. I thought for 6$ including shipping I would give it a try too. I really didn't expect to like this palette but once I swatched it, I couldn't wait to try it out.

Maybelline Snapscara (Black and Black Cherry) Review and Swatches
Wednesday, March 6, 2019
Maybelline Snapscara is a fairly new mascara at the drugstore. It claims to be "on and off in a snap." The formula for the Snapscara is wax free and idea for sensitive eyes. The formula allows you to easily remove the mascara with a cotton pad and warm water only and no rubbing on the eyes. Sounds great, right? Well as for removing the mascara I did find it very easy to remove and didn't have residue left over in the morning. Some mascaras are so hard to remove that you feel like you're damaging your lashes in the process.
Sephora Wishlist (What Caught My Attention At Sephora)
Monday, March 4, 2019
I frequently visit Sephora online and in store. I work near a Sephora and can easily visit during my lunch break and as a fellow makeup addict, it's tempting to see all those products in display. These are some products that I have added to my wishlist that I hope to pick up at some point. Some sooner rather than later.
The Clinique On the Glow Trio Palette fits into my love for "all in one" products. As a working mom and someone who is trying to get ready quickly in the morning. I love multitasking palettes that I can use as a bronzer, blush, highlighter and be able to quickly move on to the next part of my routine. My makeup lovers have raved about the Cheek Pops but I've never had a chance to try one. I think this would be a great option to give them a try. Purchase

Amazon Finds: 5-1 Curling Wand (Great for beginners)
Friday, March 1, 2019
I've always wanted to be able to curl my hair and have nice beachy waves but I have long thick hair and could never figure out a curling iron that had a clip. My ends were always looking chopped. I thought a wand style might be easier for me. I purchased this 5-1 curling wand through Amazon and was ecstatic when I realized that it is possible for me to do my hair at home.
