Boxycharm has always been one of the subscriptions boxes that interested me. 5 full-size products for 21$, in Canada it will run you about 35$ including the shipping and exchange. The box is always worth more than you pay and I was excited to get my March box. I tried it a while ago but chose not to stay subscribed at the time. Lately, I feel like the boxes have been really good and wanted to try it again.


I really wanted to try the CoverFX face palette, and it helped to convince me to sign back up. This is a new palette valued at 57$ (Can) and it comes in light/medium and medium/deep. I have the light/medium. Boxycharm had a questionnaire to fill out and I'm happy that I didn't get the wrong shade. I saw others did receive the wrong one, and since it was an internal Boxycharm gave them credits in the charm room.  This palette has two highlights, one brightener shade, a blush, bronzer and finishing power. I will do a full review once I've tested it long enough. My version of the box had the Mannkadar Bloom mascara valued at 29$. I've never tried anything from the brand but the packaging was impressive. This mascara has a built-in primer and promises to lengthen and volume. The wand does look unique. I also receive an Ofra Liquid Lipstick (20$) in the shade Monaco. Again, this is another brand I've never tried and despite this being a metallic lipstick I really liked it. It's metallic but not too metallic. I was really excited about the Wander Beauty Lift Off Purifying and Brightening Peel Off Mask valued at 34$. I do like peel off masks but I haven't tried any in a while and Wander Beauty is new to me. It dries down rose gold and has acai, goji berry, blueberry, lychee, mangosteen and green tea leaf extracts. My fifth item in the box was a set of brushes by Moda synthetic brushes. It's the Powder and Soft Glow Kit valued at 30$. They're pretty soft, and the powder brush seems nice- the smaller glow brush is pretty wispy. I'm not sure what I will use it for yet.

Overall Verdict: I really liked this box and I'm happy to be subscribed again. I really enjoy trying new products, and this will help me experience brands that I don't have easy access to in Canada. I use to never wear lip products and now I do enjoy wearing them so I know those will get some use too. Once I have fully tested these out, I'll have full reviews posts. As a Canadian Subscriber, I received my box quickly, tracking email was sent out promptly and I was happy with the service.
