If you haven't noticed I have a weakness for eyeshadow palettes and cheek palettes. I really can't help it, but I am aware of the situation. Cheekbone Beauty is a brand that I love, and I am a brand ambassador. The products are Canadian made, and 10% of profits are used to support equal educations for First Nations children. I'm so excited to see this brand grow and thrive. I had my eye on the Stardust palette since it launched and I did mention it in a previous post but I decided to give it a full review. I recently added the contour trio to my collection as well and will review it after I've had a chance to test it.
The Stardust palette has three glowy products; Glow Dust, Cheek Dust and Glow Dust. The Glow Dust has a white gold, champagne highlighter and it does not emphasize texture. You can apply it on its own or spray with a brush to amp it up and buff into the skin. The Cheek Dust is a peachy, rose glowy blush. You can lightly dust it on the cheeks as a topper or use a denser brush to build it up and wear as a blush. I love to use my Real Techniques Cheek Pop brush for this. If you were a fan of the Pixi Beauty X Aspyn Novard blush in Fem Rose you'll love this blush. It's very similar in terms of performance. It's not too pigmented and you can build and build without going overboard. It's a very user-friendly blush. If you're heavy handed and tend to pack on too much blush- you'll love this one because it's so easy to use. The Pixi Fem Rose blush was limited edition, but this can be a great addition to you're collection, especially if you enjoy the peachier tone. Gold Dust is a little too dark for me, but I'm fair- really fair. I mix it with Cheek Dust which works great, or I use it as an eyeshadow or inner corner highlight. It's vegan and paraben free. It is housed in a black plastic sturdy case and it does have a mirror.
