When Makeup Revolution released the new Deep Dive palette, I had to pick it up. The Reloaded palettes are some of their most popular palettes and they've been mostly a hit for me. I don't own many blue eyeshadows and really wanted to try the blue eyeshadow trend on myself and finding an affordable palette is a great way to experiment with an eye look. In full disclosure, I like the palette but I do not like all blue eyeshadow looks on myself. I'm going to have to find a way to make this palette more wearable for myself.
Playing with colour requires patience and some technique. Blending colourful eyeshadows are not the same as blending neutrals. While I don't find this palette patchy, it does require more blending. I have the same thoughts on other colourful palettes. The shimmers are really nice in this palette, and the mattes are more darker in tone. Again, this makes it a bit harder since you don't have a variation of light to dark to help slowly build the crease. You have to go in right away with that darker matte.
One of the ways I like to play with colour is to keep the crease neutral and then add colour to the lid and bottom lash line. I'm going to explore a bit more and find some other ways to make colour more appealing to me. While I do recommend this palette, it's not a favorite of mine. I see it as a challenge and want to figure out how I can wear it. Those mattes intimidate me a bit, and I'm not grabbing for this palette. If you are looking to try blues and greens, go ahead an give this a try. When I saw this palette, it reminded me of the Jeffree Star Blue Blood palette.

It's such a cool palette but not something I would wear!

Effortlessly Sophisticated
Blue eyeshadow does nothing for me but I see there are some nice greeny shades in here too, which are very pretty! xx

I enjoy their palettes in general and this one is super pretty! I don´t reach for blues too often though!

Makeup Revolution is a brand I want to try. This palette like others is gorgeous. I don't think I own any blue toned shadows. I like that the shades are not too bright. :-)
