Boxycharm July 'Au Naturale' 2019 Unboxing
Wednesday, July 17, 2019
It's Boxycharm unboxing time on the blog. I look forward to this each month, and I normally can't wait to see spoilers and variations that will be in the boxes. This month the theme is "Au Naturale" and for the most part, I think my items match the theme. Boxycharm is a monthly subscription service and costs 21$ US, as a Canadian, I pay around 35$ which includes the shipping and exchange rate. The value of items in the box always surpasses the price of the box itself. I like the box because it's a surprise to see what's inside each month, it gives me an opportunity to try new items I wouldn't necessarily buy myself, and the value is amazing. Let's get into the items, and I'll tell you my thoughts.
Butter London Natural Goddess Eyeshadow Palette MSPR 32$
When I saw this would be in each box, I wasn't that excited to get this palette but now that I have it. It really is pretty and I'm looking forward to trying it out. This is a sleek little palette with 6 shades and I've never tried a Butter London palette.
Luxie GAEA 3 Piece Brush Set MSPR 30$
I really like Luxie brushes and was very happy to see this set in my box. Again, I think this was in every box and it wasn't a variation item. These brushes are eco-friendly and the handles do look different from the usual pink painted handles. It has the Luxie 410 foundation brush, 250 large eye brush and the 246 precision crease brush.
Elemis Superfood Vital Veggie Mask MSPR 35$
I love receiving skincare items in the box, and Elemis is a brand I really want to try out. This is a treatment mask that nourishes, smoothes and brightens for softer and more radiant skin. I'll give this a try and review it.
Ofra Liquid Lip in Santorini MSPR 20$
This item confused me because it's a fushia pink in a box that's themed for "natural." It doesn't fit the theme in my opinion, and I felt like it was a filler item. I've seen other boxes receive lip glosses and I would have been much happier with that. I don't see myself using this liquid lip. I am happy to see Ofra offered in the box though. It was more the colour selection that threw me off.
Koh Gen Do Spa Cleansing Cloths MSPS 17$
These are cotton cleansing spa water clothes. I don't typically buy wipes, I prefer to use reusable clothes but I am happy to have these. It's great to have on the vanity, when travelling or when you're in a hurry. I was excited to see a Japanese brand featured. I've been exploring a lot of Asian beauty brands lately.
My box has a value of 134$ US which is 172$ Canadian and I paid around 35$. I have all new items to me, and new brands I would like to try out. I think subscription boxes are a great way to build your collection, and you expand your products as a blogger. If you would like to subscribe, you can use my referral link here. If you do receive Boxycharm, what was your most exciting item this month? If you're a reader and you see something that you really want a review on, please comment below. I'll make it a priority.
