Lately, I've been really selective about the products I'm purchasing. I'm trying to stay away from influencer collaborations because the hype seems to come and go and the products are quickly forgotten. I won't get into influencer scandals but they do turn me away from certain products. I don't have a lot of space for makeup and I can't keep adding and adding without decluttering. I really want to get more use of what I have and appreciate my collection. Of course, I'm going to buy makeup to review but I want to be less impulsive. I've been seeking out more Korean Beauty and other Asian brands and it's been really fun to try products that are great and not as prominent in the mainstream beauty community. Discovering hidden gems is so fun. Affordable products are even better finds.
This project pan will be ongoing. I'm not going to give myself a timeline but I will check in with this palette from time to time. I do pretty well when using up foundations, concealer, powder and other products. I don't hoard them as much. It's the eyeshadow palettes that I feel don't get the love they should because I have so many. This Carli Bybel Deluxe Palette is truly a favourite of mine, and the highlighters are gorgeous. My plan is to keep this on my vanity at all times and use it a few times a week. I don't have any hard and fast rules; this is a challenge to see how long it will take me. If this goes well, I might add in different products and seek more challenges within the community.
Have you tried a project pan? What are some tips and tricks that you have? Would you consider a project pan? If you like this palette it is no longer for sale on the BH Cosmetics site but they have the Opalescent palette which looks very similar.
