Lise Watier V Element Fiber Mascara Review
Monday, August 19, 2019
The Lise Watier V Element Fiber mascara was recently sent to me and I didn't know what to think about it. Mascara is one of those products that can be very hit or miss. It really depends on your lashes. Let's take a look at the product description "formulated with volcanic water that is loaded with minerals, this mascara is enriched with fibers for extreme length and explosive volume. The microfibers cling to the lashes to instantly create a lash extension effect. The fortifying formula helps to revitalize and protect eyelashes from external aggressors thanks to its calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper and silica content. No clumping or flaking" Doesn't that sound impressive? I was pretty curious about this mascara. I wasn't sure how it would perform on my short, thin lashes but I was excited to try it out.
First, I want to mention that the V Element Fiber mascara has a nice wand that makes it easy to work with. I can apply to the root on my lashes and wiggle the wand upwards without making a huge mess. I have small eyes and some wands are just too big. The mascara does add some length and helps to keep my curl which I really like. I tend to use my L'Oreal Voluminous Primer to really add that extra length before going in with this mascara. The L'Oreal Primer is one that I use all the time. The V Element is also VERY black and it doesn't clump or flake on my eyes throughout the day. As a contact lens wearer, that's very important to me. It's also very lightweight on my lashes, I don't feel that crunchy feeling that some mascara's give me. I really do think it nourishes my lashes and it's not too hard to remove.
Overall, I'm impressed and mascara is one of those products that I don't usually tend to choose higher-end prices. This product is one that I would repurchase because I really do feel like it's healthier for my lashes. For an everyday mascara, this one is really great. It does exactly what I want a mascara to do. Lise Watier is a brand that I haven't explored very much and I would love to dig deeper into the brand.
